Immune health is our starting point.
Rooted in cellular immunology, IMULIFE focuses on the science of immune health. Our first products, BiCore and BiJoy, are daily probiotic formulas built around three clearly identified Bifidobacterium strains.
How the gut connects to immunity.
The gut microbiome interacts with the immune system. This connection helps explain why microbiome research is part of our approach to immune health.

Why Bifidobacterium?
We chose Bifidobacterium because the connection between the gut microbiome and immune responses is central to our approach, and we want a clear research trail for every strain in our formulas. BiCore and BiJoy contain BGN4, AD011 and BORI. Our selection considers:
- Relevance to immune health: BGN4 research explores immune responses and markers related to the gut barrier and inflammation.
- Human research to examine: Formulas containing these strains have been studied for gut symptoms and other health outcomes.
- Clear strain identity: Naming BGN4, AD011 and BORI lets you compare the ingredients with the relevant research.
We focus on specific strains, formulations and findings. Evidence differs between strains; the highlights and full library identify the formulas and populations studied.
Know your strains.
A strain is a specific type of microorganism within a species. The codes BGN4, AD011 and BORI tell you which strains are in our formulas and help you find research on each one.
What does CFU mean?
CFU stands for colony-forming units, a measure of live microorganisms. The count tells you how much a formula contains; the strains, dose and relevant research help you understand its potential benefits.
Probiotics and prebiotics: what’s the difference?
Probiotic products contain live microorganisms. Prebiotic ingredients provide food for certain microorganisms in the gut.
BiCore includes xylo-oligosaccharides, galacto-oligosaccharides and fructo-oligosaccharides. BiJoy includes xylo-oligosaccharides, along with calcium, iron, zinc and vitamin C.

Gut barrier and inflammation markers
An eight-week randomised trial in 60 adults reported improvements in markers including zonulin and TNF-α. Weight, BMI and body fat percentage showed no significant between-group improvement.

Gut comfort and bowel habits
A study in 63 people with diarrhoea-predominant IBS used these three strains alongside two others and reported improvements in some bowel-habit measures.

From species names to strain identity
BGN4 and BORI each have patent records for strain-specific detection primers. This research focuses on identifying particular strains, making the identity of a studied strain more precise.
